It was very effective form of punishment from what I recall. WebYou mean, do teachers “pick their battles”? Yes. (So do parents, by the way.) It’s all about knowing the student’s personality, and deciding if correcting the behavior will just cause a larger disruption, or if the behavior is a safety issue.
