WebDaughters of Utah Pioneers ("DUP") was organized April 11, 1901, under the leadership of Annie Taylor Hyde (daughter of John Taylor) in Salt Lake City. Forty-six women, all of pioneer descent, gathered in her home for the first meeting. WebThey represent the high standards of modern-day pioneers with a love of their pioneer heritage and a vision of the difference young women can make in the world. The Days of '47 Scholarship Selection is produced by International Society Daughters of Utah Pioneers.
