WebSame here - with the 35% discount I got on my charge 5 (after reporting my charge 3's dim screen issue) it was kind of a no-brainer to get the charge 5, but having it in-hand now, it's kind of disappointing. It will occasionally come on bright but after a few seconds it's dim again and I can't get it back. This is indoors and is still difficult to read.
