WebJan 14, 2024 · Here, by first-principles calculations, we predict an allotrope of graphene that may soon be experimentally synthesized, called T-graphene, which is a promising anode material for AIBs. We find that when it is used as the anode for NIBs, its theoretical capacity can be as high as 2232 mA h g −1 (Na 6 C 6 ), which is six times that of graphite. WebOwing to the thinness and large lateral size, 2D Si materials exhibit very promising prospects as the high-performance anodes of lithium-ion batteries (LIBs). However, the facile synthesis of ultrathin 2D Si nanosheets (Si-NSs) and their efficient application still remain a great challenge.
