WebIdiopathic pulmonary eosinophilia includes acute eosinophilic pneumonia (AEP), chronic eosinophilic pneumonia (CEP), and idiopathic hypereosinophilic syndrome (IHES). Our patient had no history of residing in a parasite endemic area or consumption of raw meat, fish, shrimp, or crab, and there was no evidence of parasitic infection.
